Based on our experience between our clients, ITEC shares with you the following
possible application scenarios:
Model 1: Oximetry Channel of Vital Signs Monitor / Pulse Oximetry OEM Board

In this implementation CHIPO2 outputs data in serial RS-232 format. Power and
communication interface may be isolated. This configuration is the simplest, and
represents commonly known "OEM SpO2 Board".
Model 2: Hand-Held Spot-Check or Continuous Monitoring Pulse Oximeter
In this implementation CHIPO2 controls numeric display (possible bar graph,
not shown); reads keypad; controls speaker for pulse beep and also possible
alarm tones.
Model 3: Pulse Oximeter with Graphics Display
In this implementation CHIPO2 controls graphics display to display Oximetry
waveforms as well as numeric data; reads keypad; controls speaker for pulse
beep and alarm tones.
Model 4: RF Pulse Oximeter

In this implementation CHIPO2 outputs data, and controls RF Transceiver.
Internal software implements redundant "packet radio" interface, CRC data
protection, etc.
Very low power consumption of CHIPO2 could be further reduced by placing
it into "sleep" mode, controlled by either internal timer, or RF receiver event.
